2015 mustang 2.3 liter. Purchased brand new from fairfield ford in california. Mustang rear ended 2014 prius at highway speed. Severe accident. Steering wheel airbag failed to inflate in mustang. Lower airbag in driver footwell inflated only. Driver seatbelt retractor is not locked potentially should be immobilized. Driver of mustang suffered 2 broken ribs, 2 cracked ribs, and a cracked sternum. Her face also struck the steering wheel and caused her to become unconscious for a little while .
2015 ford mustang gt was in an accident, where I rear ended another vehicle. The front end was pushed in about 3-4 inches to the point where the drivers door no longer opens and the hood no longer closes, this prompted the knee airbags to go off, driver side airbag went off perfectly fine, however driver side deployed only half way (more like 1/4) which rendered it defective. Spoke to 2 separate ford dealerships about it and was told they don't know how an airbag is supposed to work because they did not design it.
