A man climbed into a community center van (used to haul food, all metal and no seats in the back), on a cold night and he apparently set a small fire in the back, presumed to keep warm. Child safety door locks on all doors prevented him from getting out. Evidence in van showed that he tried to kick door and windows out but he was unable to get out. He was found dead in the van, with the fire out. The community center reported that an employee had previously been trapped in the van due to the child safety locks.
Employee driving 1999 GMC 2500 pickup towing a 2008 towmaster trailer loaded with a bobcat 325 mini excavator northbound on I-25 at san felipe exit heard a pop, thinking it was a blown tire, tried to pull off to the right side of the road. Lost control of the vehicle, hit a passing car, hit a guardrail, crossed over the highway through another guardrail, down the concrete embankment to the road below.
The automatic 4 wheel drive acted erratically causing the back end to become loose and resulting in the consumer loosing control of vehicle, skided off road and hit 2 fence posts. Nlm
1999 GMC k2500 fuel gauge goes down to show half a tank and stops there. Shows erratic readings. Vehicle can run out of gas and appear to have aprox. Half a tank.
2 years ago I had all of the brake lines replaced because of failure due to rust at a cost of $1000.00 I believe the cause was poor metal in the brake lines and the way the lines are attached to the body & frame help to cause the problem.
