Driving back to camper in the late evening and was listening to music and gps was on the screen when I was going approximately 32mph when headliner airbags on both sides went off causing me to hit my brakes and veer into the ditch. I was able to maintain pretty good control but did hit either a rock or stick or something that punctured my wheel sidewall. Unsure if a tree limb then got caught and tore off my bedcover that then left a small dent on the c column on the passenger side.
When attached to a trailer with solar panels, the truck will intermittently disconnect the trailer electronics which disables the trailer brakes and trailer lights. This is because the solar energy is back flowing to the truck via 7 pin connector and overloading the circuit. Having a truck disable the trailer brakes and lights intermittently is very dangerous. Earlier model years of this truck do not suffer this issue.
