Reported at 35,000 miles, April 2009 Fire

This is a notification of a defect before it becomes a failure which causes accident or loss of life. I have repeatedly returned my 2007 honda civic si sedan for service (4 times) for a defect in the front suspension which could cause strut failure. The problem is unresolved. Internet research indicates many other owners (2006-07 model year) with the same problem. The consumer stated battery is dead if vehicle is not run for 5 or more days updated 12/12/07
