What owners wrote

Steering locked up and driver lost ability to steer. Vehicle moved to left. Driver tried to brake but brakes failed. Witnesses described vehicle lurching to left and seeing brake lights come on but vehicle did not slow down. Car hit a street lamp and bounced to the right. Side airbags deployed. Front left wheel fell off the car. Driver sustained a mild concussion. Note that honda has issued a recall for some 2006 cr-v's related to suspension which could cause loss of steering (honda recall 12-020).

When driving the brakes will seize up especially in the winter followed by a grinding sound. It did it twice yesterday(12/19/2020)while driving in the snow and the car will often slide making it difficult to stop. I have complained about this several times before on several occasions and once was told my brake like is probably frozen. The car dealership even took the converter heat shield off as it was dented and they thought that might be the issue.
