We had a 2006 honda crv. In a 2 week period we experienced 2 rear wheel blow outs. The first occurred on a city road after driving on the toll way. It was a sidewall blowout. The second occurred about 2 weeks later while driving on the toll way. My wife was driving when she experienced a left rear tire blow out. It caused the vehicle to spin out of control, hit a semi, and roll over several times. My wife suffered serious injuries and is still unable to be out of bed for more than a short time.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 honda cr-v. The contact was traveling 40 MPH when the headlights failed. The contact failure was experienced six times, sporadically. The dealer informed the contact that the bulb was replaced each time the failure recurred. The manufacturer advised that they would look further into the issue but the contact had not received any results. The failure mileage was 40,000. The VIN was not available.
I took my vehicle to the honda dealer for its 90,000 service. At this time honda dealer recommended work but did not perform replace front lower arm compliance bushing, ball joints boot torn. Honda did not mention the NHTSA campaign id 12v12400, (suspension front control arm lower arm). I felt like the honda rep did not explain my options, and did not listen to my concerns. I had it repaired at another auto care center. On 9-13-2012, the AC system went, compressor locked up. It needed an entire new AC system.
