What owners wrote
Left firestone auto to get an il change on univeristy blvd after oil change, proceeded onto university blvd, made a left onto broadhead road(?), made a right into dollar bank parking lot. Pulled up to atm and atm was out of service. Drove around the building to go into the bank to get money out instead. Turned into parking spot four, pumped gas then brake....car accelerated and I pumped on brakes again and the car would not stop. I hit a pole in front of the bank, the air bag deployed.
ABS problem - sacred to drive when it snows I have a 2006 honda crv and honda accord. The problem is more prominent on the crv. When there is snow on the road, ABS kicks in and the car does not stop when braking, even when the speed is only 10MPH. This happens more if coming down a gradient. The gradient can be very little. This really scares me as I cannot do anything to prevent it. I never had such a problem with my 16 year old honda civic, which didn't have an ABS system..
