While driving on the highway,rt 24, 7.3 mile marker(?),some one cut us off and my wife was in the center lane and turned to the right. We got hit my another car in the rear or side.we ended up on the side of highway with the driver side on the ground. The passenger curtain air bags inflated along with other passenger side air bags.the only air bag to inflate on drivers side that was on the ground was the one in the steering column. We had to climb out of the passenger door, which was on the top now.
While driving on the nys thruway southbound on a clear, dry day, we were about to exit onto exit 13n when a speeding sedan cut us off before we could exit and we had to steer the vehicle back onto the thruway. The 2009 honda cr-v went out-of-control and we weaved over 3 lanes of traffic and hit the cement median, bounced off and hit it again. The vehicle was totaled. In addition, the passenger front safety bags partially deployed and side bags did not deploy at all.
I bought a new 2009 honda cr-v in dec 2008. After around 30k miles or so, I noticed the car pulling to the left at highway speeds. I took the car in to a local mechanic for an alignment and tire rotation but nothing they did fixed the issue. I then brought it to the honda dealership since it was still under warranty and they conducted their own alignment and tire rotation (at my expense since alignments are not covered under warranty).
Takata recall" the air compressor in the car just stop working my vents just started to throw out smoke almost causing me into a accident on the highway on my way to work. Now my car AC is not throwing out cold air its blowing warm air instead of cold. I don't here the compresser going on any more.
