Tl* the contact owns a 2009 honda cr-v. The contact stated that the passenger side door would not lock automatically and the rear hatch would not unlock at all. The passenger side door lock would only lock manually. The contact called the dealer regarding the locking system and the dealer stated that the entire electrical component for the locking system needed to be replaced. The contact did not have any repairs performed on the vehicle. The failure mileage was 57,356.
Driver door unlocks whenever the car makes a right turn. Dome light goes on. Door re-locks when stopping and starting, unlocks again when turning. In city traffic, door unlocks and relocks constantly. (making normal unlocking/locking clicking sound). I took it to the honda dealer. They said they test drove it - said they could not duplicate the issue and tried to send me away. I requested that their mechanic ride with me for one more test...the door unlocked when I pulled out of the lot.
