For the past 2 years we have been experiencing a raw gas smell in the cabin of our 2001 honda odyssey. We have taken it in consistently over this time. They smell it too but can't find it. We have paid to have repaired everything they have said it was and the problem continues. Google shows about 4800 posts for the same problem. Honda of america says they are done looking for the problem and says too bad.
The car slowed down and would not accelerate. The engine lights and other lights came on. The mechanic has informed me that I will need to have the transmission replaced. Again for the 3rd time. And this after having the transmission flushed in february of 2013. The transmission had to be replaced in 2007, 2011 and now 2013. I had to pay out of pocket for the 2011 and now they say for the 2013. There is something wrong with the vehicle that the transmissions are failing so soon.
