Takata recall our 2014 jeep compass was involved in a 5 car accident 3/4/2019 in henderson nv. Proceeding east bound on I-215, a white hyundai was stalled in the center lane in the beginning of rush hour traffic. A red toyota traveling at approximately 70 MPH struck the rear end of the hyundai catapulting the hyundai across lanes into the passenger doors (front and back) of our 2014 jeep compass destroying the passenger rear door where my 12 year old son was seated causing injury to his shoulder neck and arm.
Tamara inflators recall. I was hit from right front, airbags deployed ejecting some kind of metal or plastic at a high velocity. I and my wife were taken to trauma center er. I has hit in the head by something and had a large knot on right side forehead as well as receiving a gash on my right hand by something as well as injured back. My wife suffered a lung compression and her whole chest was displaced upward. We were on a city street and another vehicle ran a stop sign hitting us in the right front.
Fiance was driving and became unconscious and hit tree/bushes head on and airbags did not deploy. Date of accident 8/27/2020 est time 5pm-5:30pm
My oil pressure and check engine light kept turning off and on. I contacted the jeep dealership in regards to the issue, and they advised me it was not dangerous. The problem continued so I attempted to transport my vehicle to my mechanic, and as I was transporting the vehicle I heard a loud "pop!" from under the hood. The car began to decelerate causing me to have to pull safely to the side of the road from three lanes over.
I heard a poppink noise from below or underneath. Also just two days ago motor light came on. I went to dealer somerset dogde for #2 recalls one in 2017 and other 2015. They said, will call you when parts comes in . They never call me till today!
