2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee air bags problems

Vehicle struct pole on passenger side, at approximately 40 MPH, and side air bags did not deploy. Extensive damage to the entire passenger side including door intrusion into the cabin. Both major support pillars were bent and side windows shattered.

This vehicle was hit by a silverado extended cab pickup at a 4 way stop twice by the same truck. The impact resulted in the jeep being a total loss with extensive damage front and rear. The airbags never deployed resulting in injuries to both the driver and more serious the passenger. The jeep was accelerating from a dead stop to cross the intersection. The truck did not stop or slow down at the intersection.
