A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.
Vehicle struct pole on passenger side, at approximately 40 MPH, and side air bags did not deploy. Extensive damage to the entire passenger side including door intrusion into the cabin. Both major support pillars were bent and side windows shattered.
This vehicle was hit by a silverado extended cab pickup at a 4 way stop twice by the same truck. The impact resulted in the jeep being a total loss with extensive damage front and rear. The airbags never deployed resulting in injuries to both the driver and more serious the passenger. The jeep was accelerating from a dead stop to cross the intersection. The truck did not stop or slow down at the intersection.
My vehicle (2019 jeep grand cherokee) was only 1 1/2 years old and was involved in a head on collision. I was driving about 45MPH when I was struck by 4-door chevy silverado (driver-to-driver collision) that was attempting to make a left turn on green, so only going about 3-5MPH. The truck's steering wheel airbag deployed, but none of my jeep's did. My jeep's entire front area was crushed, and driver's side experienced extensive damage as well; resulting in my jeep being totaled.

I bought this car in jan. 2018 brand new. For the first year or so I had no problems. As of july 2020 it has stalled on me for 5 times. It only happens while on the highway (60-70MPH). The lights on the dashboard start blinking and it says "shift to p to start". It decelerates very quickly luckily I've been able to merge to the emergency lane on the highway but this last time (1/17/21) it was very scary as cars were swerving in order to avoid hitting me.
