What owners wrote

My son was involved in an unexplained car accident on 9/26/15 in our 2004 jeep grand cherokee. The crash resulted in extensive physical and fire damage to the vehicle and the loss of my son's life. It was a beautiful sunny day and the cause remains unknown. Shortly after I received notice that his vehicle was involved in recall r60 for unintended air bag deployment which could result in a crash. My son was a new driver and anything could have happened.

April 21, 2006: I was proceeding on a green left turn arrow and was hit by a ford taurus running stop light. He veered around my front end, tearing off the entire front end and pushing my vehicle into the oncoming lanes. I did not see him coming. I heard the crash, then saw a bright white light. I had lost consciousness and was awakened by a man knocking on my window. The seat belt did not hold. Air bag did not deploy.
