I was driving my jeep at night in a residential neighborhood. I looked down and there was a sharp turn in the road. By the time I realized it, it was too late and I hit the guard rail. The fire started right in front of my windshield. I was able to get out but within minutes my entire jeep that was less that a year old at the time was completely consumed in flames. The front end was still in tact so the damage in my opinion was not nearly enough to result in total loss.
Takata recall, my car was rear ended by another vehicle at a speed approximately 45MPH. My car was stopped 3rd on the red light driver seat broke off. No air bags was activated. My question is why? All passengers was sustain major injuries. Now all been under doctors supervision. The driver who is rear ended us fell asleep.
Observed oil leaking from the bottom of the vehicle and was able to locate the source of the leak on the top part of the engine around the oil filter. The leak was caused by a crack in the oil cooler housing and oil was covering the top part of the engine and running down on to the transmission and the exhaust. My vehicle only had 9516 mi on it so I decided to check on line to see if anyone else was having this problem with 2014 wrangler.
Transmission supply and return steel hose rubbed on transmission housing causing the steel hose to have a hole and leak transmission fluid. Hose did have a plastic bracket that broke over time.
