Airbag delay in deployment and seatbelt failure to lock. Almost direct head on collision. After contact with the other vehicle (full size truck), my body went forward and hit over the visor in the middle. On the return to my original position I watched the airbag deploy. The seatbelt never locked. I also do not recall the airbag fully deploying. Vehicle is available to check computer. No one has inspected the vehicle and I had no vehicle maintenance issues prior.
Tl* the contact owns a 2019 jeep wrangler. While driving, the contact heard a loud popping noise and the entire console screen failed. The contact stopped and restarted the vehicle, but the entire console screen still failed to function. The contact was still able to drive the vehicle. In addition, the contact stated that after the vehicle being parked for two days at an airport lot, the vehicle was later started and the entire console screen failed and the power steering seized.
The steering in very loose at highway speeds allowing vehicle to wander all over. Very hard to keep in traffic lanes. Dealer has been unable to fix since new. Less than 1500 miles on unit now. The jeep is very dangerous to drive and all other new jeep wranglers tested feel the same way. All older models tested were a lot tighter and easier to control at highway speeds.
Lowered the windshield per the user manual for the first time on 4/3/21. 2 of the 4 bolts holding the windshield to the frame were present but not tightened. Unknown if they loosened while operating the vehicle, which has approximately 20,000 miles currently, or whether they were loose from the factory.
