While driving 25 MPH the vehicle had direct frontal impact and both the driver's and passenger's side air bags did not deploy, resulting in two injuries. Cause unknown.
While driving and making a left hand turn on the ramp of I-76, vehicle started to slow down because of an accident up ahead, and a semi truck behind was also making a left hand turn, but it didn't slow down. Fishtailed and hit consumer's vehicle. Upon impact, neither airbag deployed due to a short in the electrical system. Recall notice issued.
On the morning of 12/7/98 I was driving north on morrie ave. Cheyenne, wy. The road conditions dry, clear and there were no distractions. I had set my cruise control on 32 MPH as there are always police in the area and speed limit is 30 MPH. The next thing I knew I was being hit in the face and the steering wheel was jerked out of my hands and then I felt a impact with unknown object and another explosion and the feeling that my right hand was being pushed into the steering wheel.
Total transmission failure. Differential pin broke and cracked the bell housing. Failure occurred without warning and less than 5000 miles after regular 90k transmission service. Requires complete transmission replacement at est cost of $3,500. Vehicle has been meticulously maintained with very light duty use. Catastrophic failure of this component is unwarranted for well maintained vehicle of this age.
While driving there was clanking noise from the auto transmission, and the vehicle wouldn't shift gears. Per dealership the transmission failed.
