We have had to replace our '99 plymouth grand voyager's transmission coolant clamps because of a leakage. Our chrysler dealer has informed us that chrysler knows that the clamps on the van are defective & we have had to pay $200 to replace the leaking clamps for ones they tell us are made different and that they say are fixing a problem that they know exists on all of these minivans.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 20MPH. Upon impact, rear/ middle bench seat restraint failed to retract, throwing occupant to front seat. This resulted in minor injuries.
Vehicle was in park, child moved gear shift to drive, and vehicle started rolling downhill. Consumer was able to jump in through sliding door and stop vehicle. Child was injured.
The printed circuit board that controls the instrument cluster has failed twice and had to be replaced. The mechanic admitted that this happens frequently with my vehicle and I can expect it to fail agian. There is an electrical problem that the dealership says does not exsist, yet my car constantly fails to operate properly and many electrical faults occur regularly.
Metal fatigue-8 inch crack has been found by me on the drivers side where the mcpherson strut is connected to the body fender mounting area. I have never seen anything like this. Car has never been in a front accident and is garage kept. I have been the sole owner of the vehicle. If this crack continues this car will no longer function and have to be junked. I believe this is a chrysler manufacturing defect. Chrysler should be completely responsible for its repair or alternate solution provided to me.
