Tl* the contact owns a 2015 dodge ram 1500. The contact stated that while attempting to park the vehicle, the vehicle switched to 4-wheel drive without being prompted. In addition, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the vehicle launched forward extremely fast without warning. The vehicle crashed into the rear driver side of another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained a fracture to the t12 vertebrae in his mid back that required medical attention. A police report was filed.
After resolving recall for emmsuons on my 2015 ram 1500 ecodiesel, the throttle response is lagging. After I make a turn onto a road the truck fails to accelerate when the gas peddle is being pushed. It has about a 3-4 second leg time. It is especially bad in a 90 degree turn going through a green light onto another road. I've almost been rear ended by trafficking that was originally 150-200 feet away when I originally turned onto the road. The lag is also noticed in passing situations.
