Lugs: bolts!!! Two (2) lug bolts broke off. Lost part of bolts and nuts. A third bolt and nut fell off when GMC dealer robert brogden auto plaza in olathe kansas was replacing all five (5) lug bolts on the right front. I have 15 more lug bolts on this car. When will they break? Ron carter refused to replace the remaing bolts free of charge.
Tl*the contact owns a 2000 chevrolet s10. While driving approximately 30 MPH on a residential street, the contact fell asleep and crashed into a parked vehicle. The contact's vehicle ignited into flames and rendered him unconscious. He was removed from the vehicle by another individual. The ambulance, fire, and police departments were called to the scene and a report was filed. The driver was transported to the hospital and remained there for three days. He sustained minor injuries to the face.
In a slow moving surface street accident, the frame of the 2000 s10 collapsed toward the driver, and the dashboard broke the driver's femur.
Dt*: the contact stated while lowering the tailgate, it was noticed the driver side cable was broken. There is a NHTSA recall, # 06v066000 regarding the tailgate cable. The vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however, it is not included in the recall due to the VIN. Updated 5/3/2006 -
Bought a 2000 chevy truck from a used car dealer in oct. 2005. It had approx. 92,000 miles on it. Over the last year I have had to replace the starter 3 times. With only approx. 35,000 miles being put on truck. In late may of 2008 we were told that flywheel had to be replaced also because it was the additional problem. Less than 2 months later starter is bad and now they are telling me that it might be a bad cam sensor. Dealership has told me that a service memo has gone out to mechanics.
