I was in my driveway, I placed the vehicle in reverse backed out normally, when I put it into Drive I let go of the brakes, I did not press the accelerator pedal, and the truck instantly accelerated while in electric mode. The acceleration was so quick that I slammed the brakes and the tires gripped the ground but I could not stop it in time and I hit a cement pylon. That same day, later in the evening I noticed that my transmission temperature was reading cold even though i had been driving for over 40 minutes.

October 2025 Crash

My F150 was purchased new and I have had it about 3 weeks. It has 1400 miles on it. Sunday afternoon April 30 2023 I could not start my f 150. There was a warning STOP SAFELY NOW and the car would not activate the engine, or disengage the parking brake. I turned everything off and waited a few minutes then tried to activate my f150 again. Again the car was bricked. The next morning May 1 at 8 am the car functioned and normally. I contacted a Ford dealer and was advised to make a service appointment.
