Tl*the contact owns a 1992 ford f150. While towing a trailer at approximately 25 MPH, the vehicle lost power as if it were in neutral. The transmission failure occurred without warning. Over the span of two years, the failure has occurred in the same manner and the vehicles had to be replaced. The dealer would not state exactly what caused the failure, but postulated that whatever was causing metal to be in the transmission pan was the cause.
