What owners wrote

The f-150 was parked in the carport attached to my son's house. It had been parked and not running for at least 3 hours. A passerby noticed the truck on fire and tried to wake all occupants in the house(duplex). At 5 a.m on 9/11/2008. My son never left the house. His body was found just inside the house by the carport door. The fire was coming from someplace in the engine compartment.

Truck shakes vigorously at speeds over 55MPH, cannot excel in fast oncoming traffic with children in vehicle! Engine cuts out and jerks the whole vehicle. Misfiring. Continuously having to get towing because the vehicle fails to start all together! This could lead to injury, death, accidents not only for the driver/passengers but others on the roads as well. This issue has been brought to attention in the ford f-150 5.4l engine more than several hundred times and no action has been taken.
