What owners wrote

My wife went to get into the truck and her foot slipped off the running board causing her to fall. She had to be under a doctors care for a knee injury for 60 days. I have slipped off these same running boards three times myself. Ford motor needs to do something about this. I have contacted both ford motor and my sealing dealer about this with no results.

Reported at 1,500 miles, May 2012 Injury

I turned on the rear defrost on my 2011 ford f-150 with 45,000 miles on it and the r/h side of the sliding rear window shattered. It is still in one piece but there are small glass fragments of glass all over the back seat. I am sure glad my girlfriends grandson was not put in his carseat before this happened. I stopped at the local ford dealer they took pictures and submitted it off to ford. I get a response from them on the same day that ford will only cover 50% of replacement cost.
