What owners wrote

A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.

Was riding in back seat of this car when it was rear ended by a 2014 jeep cherokee. Taurus was stopped on highway, and hit squarely from behind. Both back seat drivers were severely bruised in lower back by latch bracket. The impact was not extreme. No air bags were deployed. I'd hate to be in back of that car if hit at full speed. It would seem likely that that bracket would produce severe lower back/tailbone injuries in a maximum speed rear impact.

I have purchased 4 aftermarket rims with 4 tires from a local tire dealer in march 2018. I had a slow leak in one tire and it was diagnosed as a cracked rim. That was approx two weeks ago. Last saturday night I had another tire go soft. Another rim cracked. The dealer I purchased the rims from has put two new rims (same manufacterer) I went on the facebook page for this compnay and I see several complaints from other consumers regarding cracked and partially seperated spokes from this manufacterer.
