What owners wrote

A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.

The 2000 GMC envoy is equipped with electrically folded outside rearview mirrors. On vehicle start, the right outside mirror of my vehicle would fold forward against the "a" pillar from its normal driving position. This occurred multiple times with different drivers. Several times the driver did not notice this had happened until the vehicle was in motion. The immediate corrective action was to use the mirror fold control switch to fold the mirrors back to their stowed position against the door glass.

June 2000

With the factory installed sunroof the rear compartment has no lighting without turning on the entire cab lighting. This proves to be a glare hazard at night when the passengers in the rear need individual lighting. Models without sunroofs have individual lighting for the rear passengers but not the models with. The manufacturer has no interest in making any changes to the 1999 or 2000 model years by offering a light kit accesory for the rear occupents.

Every time consumer takes off from a stopped position accelerator pedal will stick/catch - automatically/suddenly accelerating. Dealership has not examined vehicle. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
