What owners wrote
A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.
Driving at approx. 2:30 pm in intermittently rainy conditions- I suddenly found myself unable to control my vehicle and had trouble seeing my surroundings even though I had new rain-x wipers on. While I applied the brakes they did not work as effectively as they should. Additionally, after the first and second impact (multiple vehicles were involved)- no air bags deployed. I was the only person in the vehicle and still the drivers side air bag did not deploy.
Consumer's vehicle rear ended another vehicle at 25 MPH. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. The manufacturer did not except responsibility.
When vehicle started up, 4-wheel drive light came on. Diagnosed as no codes stored in atcm. Old atcm programming scanned for codes no codes stored. Reflashed atcm with new update.
