Throttle stuck on 1995 honda passport/isuzu rodeo resulting in death of buddy thatcher at airport auto auction in alcoa tn. Since then another passport throttle has stuck while being driven to auction. Investigation has shown that there is a problem with the throttle cable housing which results in this failure--this is a life and death issue and I wanted to report/check to see if it has been reported /on other years and model--passport and rodeo ran from 1994 to 2002. Probable isuzu trooper has same issue.

August 1996 Crash

I just purchased this vehicle used for blue book value from a reputable dealer. I was told the only problems were the blower motor and rear doors were stuck closed. I fixed those problems easily and began driving it to work and back every day. After putting about 350 miles on it, I heard something smack the undercarriage and in my rearview I saw a chunk of rust on the road.
