I am reporting a very serious, disturbing, shocking and tragic accident on 9/12/2015 on randall road in elgin, il USA at 2:35 pm just after big timber road signal.my southbound 2006 mercedes benz e350 car was hit by the high speed out of control northbound 2014 toyota corolla, which had crossed/swerved the center line and resulted in a head on collision/crash.....updated 10-27-15
I was driving on the highway and could hear that the engine didn't sound right, it was revving at a higher RPM than normal. I pulled over to see what was wrong and it continued to do this every time I tried to accelerate. I turned the car off, turned it back on and then only had 3rd. Gear available. Nothing else. I later found out that it's called "limp mode" it wouldn't go faster than 40MPH and nothing else worked, just 3rd. Gear and reverse.
Fuel pump leaking fumes (and fuel?). While parked and preparing to come home the fuel pump failed and the car refused to start. It will not be repaired unless it is under the extended warranty. I am trying to learn if it will be covered under a extended warranty.
