On October 14 2022 I was driving my vehicle at about 35mph and came suddenly upon a stop sign. I hit the brakes and skidded through the intersection and collided with a pick up truck going about 15 mph. My rogue immediately caught fire from under the hood and the doors wouldn't open. The person I collided with was the only person amongst a dozen people who was brave enough and cared enough about my life to ram his body repeatedly into the rear passenger window and yanked me out of the car.
Car left running (not turned off) with transmission set to park began rolling until hitting a bush. I see that there was a similar problem with 2015 models.
The camera that controls the automatic breaking system as well as the lane warnings keeps saying there is an obstruction but there isn't one. I owned the vehicle about 1 hour when the warning light appeared and they said it was a simple software update but now they are saying it needs a new sensor. I want to return the car but I am in nh where there is no cooling off period. I am afraid this is going to be an ongoing issue after reading here, please advise
