I was involved in an accident on May 3rd. 2024. As a result of this accident, I have filed an insurance claim. My brakes failed to stop the truck properly. I was pushing the brake pedal as hard as I could, and the brakes were not stopping the truck properly. It had minimal braking not enough to stop the truck. Almost like the ABS system failed and was not allowing the pressure I was applying to the brakes. I called the dealer to make an appointment this week.

May 2024 Crash

Soft close tailgate opened as I was backing up to hook up to my pontoon trailer. I had closed it prior to backing up. Because the tailgate was down, the rear camera did not correctly identify how close I was to the pontoon trailer hitch and the lowered tailgate struck the pontoon trailer hitch, damaging the tailgate.
