My father was driving a stock dual cab chevy 2008 silverado, not sure what the stock tires for this truck is. Was bought in lucedale, ms at walt massey chevrolet. He was forced off the north side of road traveling west at approx. 60 MPH and when reentering pavement or during yawing (still uncertain, but pictures were taken by investigators), the right tire detached from the axle which caused the vehicle to go off other side of road and hit a large oak.
Door lock actuator failures. Failure to unlock but doors lock when placed into drive. Chevrolet will fix problem for around $1,200. In order to open rear doors on truck you must climd over front console or lower windows to manually unlock. This is a problem on every chevy 2008 and above vehicle that I know of.
