During a rear-end crash at 40 MPH, passenger seat literally broke in half and landed on a child in the back seat (who was 5-point restrained correctly in an approved car seat with tether), causing a leg and head injury, as well as a neck injury to the person in the passenger seat. There was no impact on the passenger side of the vehicle. We have photos of the broken clip and totaled car if you need them.
Distributor failed and caused the vehicle stop on the freeway. When I had the car fixed, the mechanic said all the hondas during this period have the same failure. One year later my 1990 honda civic had the distributor fail also. I am concerned that accidents are occurring because the distributor fails in heavt traffic. It is a manufacture defect. I was told the bearings are low quality and freeze up.
