Honda civic 1995 4 door. Involved in a passenger side impact estimated at 45MPH by the police. This impact resulted in braking the frame, bending the roof double, and otherwise total destruction of the car. This crash killed my mother. I want to know if there is anyone out there that would know information about the safety of this vehicle. I would like to prove that an excessive speed was involved by the other party, and need any help anyone can give.
Driver was traveling a5 about 55 MPH when he fell asleep and had a frontal impact with a highway guardrail, veered into bridge guardrail. No deployment of driver's/passnger's air bags upon impact, resulting in a fatality and injury. Vehicle was totaled.
Husband driving, weather was wet and raining, another car passed going 80 MPH, other car lost control, husband did not have time to brake, smacked into other car, both air bags did not deploy, both driver/passenger injured, seat belts held.
Dt*: the contact stated the hood opened while the vehicle was traveling 65 MPH, cracking the windshield and almost causing an accident. The vehicle had not been to a service dealer. Updated 1/10/2007 -
Car keeps over-heating. Changed radiator, thermostat, and fan motor relay then car will not start for a period of time.
