On june 30,2001 my daughter jennifer was in a car accident. Jenny was stopped at a red light while waiting for the light to change our honda civic 2000, was rear ended. The civic was pushed into the car in front.the civic has damage to the front and rear ends of the car. The 2000 honda was totaled, the airbags never deployed.I would like to known why the airbags did not go off.
I was in a head on collision and neither of the airbags deployed. My handbook says that the airbags should have went off. They didn't.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision of 35-40 MPH and neither air bag deployed. Dealer contacted. The driver and passenger were both injured in the accident. *slc
Tl* the contact owns a 2000 honda civic. The contact stated that the low beam headlights were malfunctioning. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who advised that the switch and coupler were defective as a result of heat damage and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included in any recalls. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and the current mileage was 165,000.
The passenger side low beams on the car do not work even though the high beams will work. It seems somewhat similar to what happens to the 2001 & 2002 honda civics. The fueses in the car seem to work fine and even when a new bulb is installed the low beams only work for a couple of days before the low beams stop working.
