What owners wrote

I was in a car accident on july 11, 2008 and rear ended the back of someone's care while I was going 35 miles an hour. My brakes locked up and my airbags did not deploy. I was treated at the emergency room for a chest contusion and a sprained neck. My car is in the shop awaiting a diagnostic test to see why my brakes and airbags did not work and it is also getting a repair.

July 2008 CrashInjury

Car model: honda civic hybrid 2007 the car has a slipping brake. When pulling up to a stop light or sign the brake can and frequently does suddenly let go. When less than full force is applied to the brake pedal the brake engages normally. However, when the car nears a full stop the brake suddenly lets go. This can be compensated for by applying additional brake force, but the sudden loss of braking can be startling and disorienting.
