Going down a hill, my niece suddenly could not steer her vehicle, resulting in 3 teenage deaths, and 3 serious injuries. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the front axle had a clean break in it.the driver's side tire was also mangled. The vehicle was totalled.
The brake line erupted on the passenger's side while driving. The dealer was notified. The dealer replaced both front rotors and the brake pads within the first 14k miles and refused to check and lubricate both front caliper slides which caused the passenger side brake pad to completely wear down the metal. The passenger side caliper bracket rusted. There was also an engine noise.
Driver side wheel fell off while vehicle was in motion due to lower control arm separating in half. Loss of control of vehicle. Cv joint drive shaft, fender and rocker panel damaged. Pictures are available showing defect.
