What owners wrote

My wife was backing up in our drive way she did not see my sons honda civic behind her very poor vision from being so high factory settings. She ripped the gas tank open. A few years later she was rear ended and again the tank ripped open we were lucky both times no fire. Then we have had death wobble every jeep suffer,s from it at some time in it,s life as per the dealer.

Reported at 52,000 miles, September 2012 Crash

The 1999-2004 jeep grand cherokee seat track has a weak point on the rear scissor assembly. When you start to notice a wobble or click it means one of the tiny connecting pieces has broken. Eventually the other side will also break allowing you to lift the entire seat up. The seat bracket that connects the seat to the floor of the jeep cracked. I started to do research and found out that this a very common issue and have caused many accidents.
