She noticed the defect when hot spots began to come through the seat. She has unknowingly been burned five times. The manufacturer has not offered any assistance. The dealer stated that there was no recall for her VIN number; however, there is a NHTSA campaign id number 06v197000 (seats:front assembly:seat heater/cooler).

The blender doors on my 2004 jeep grand cherokee's ventilation system failed without warning. I can only get air flow from the windshield defroster vent. This makes if difficult to warm up the vehicle in the winter. According to my research on the web, this type of failure is ridiculously common on this jeep model. I have scheduled an appointment to get the problem fixed, but my dealer has already warned me that the repair costs will be at least $500 or more.
