On the evening of october 9, 2020, the air bag on my 2017 corvette z06 unexpectly deployed without any warning in my face blocking my view while driving downhill around 45 miles per hour and without me striking any object on the two-lane highway. I believe the right front wheel was defective and broke puncturing the right front tire that caused the right front suspension and frame rails to strike the road surface and break the right front suspension in two that caused me to lose control of the steering and strike…
Had vibration and was told I had 3 bent wheel at 6500 miles. I am 65 years old and never in my lifetime did I ever have a wheel problem. I was one of the lucky ones. I used "smart driver" to defend my driving habits. GM did replace my wheels. Now I am afraid to drive my 84k car
The rear tire on my grand sport started leaking air. I took it to the dealership and was told it was repaired. It was leaking again the next day and I took it back again and I was again told it was fixed. I took it back and was advised the rim had two cracks. Estimated repair cost 1,305 to start out and that it would not be covered under the warranty. I contacted chevrolet and the next day I received a call from the dealership. Long story short they cut me a deal on the repairs and reduced my cost to 620.00.
