I was driving on the highway service handling traction system light came on and car went to right and l ran in a ditch 11000 dollars in damage and not one air open.
While driving at 68 MPH on a two highway, the roof section from a 2005 chevrolet corvette separated from the vehicle and went airborne. Prevailing winds blue the panel to the side of the road, keeping out of following or oncoming traffic flow which could have caused a serious accident. The 102 degree temperature appears to have caused the failure of the adhesive holding the roof panel to the roof frame. Vehicle was recalled in 2006 for the same problem and the roof was replaced at that time.
This is in regards to the recent recall on 2005-2007 corvette head light assembly. I have a similar problem though the electric short in the light harness caused my right blink to not function. The GM dealership that I took it to stated the whole light assembly had to be replaced. My corvette has not been recalled as of yet and when I contact GM they don't see to understand my claim. From my understanding the harness that is causing the low beams to not work is the same harness for the entire light assembly.
