I had smelled something in my car for a while and could not figure out what it was. About 15 mins into my trip, my eyes started to burn and tear, and my nose felt like it was on fire. But I got it subsided. Another 15 mins later I looked over at my passenger side window and realized my car was smoking and it was coming from my sun visor. I had to wait to get to the shoulder of the road as I was in the I-pass lane and had to get past a cement wall before getting my car safely away from other traffic.
Tl* the contact owned a 2011 dodge durango. While driving various speeds, the contact fell asleep and crashed into a barricade pole. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries to the head and the front passenger sustained knee injuries; however, medical attention was not required. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a towing lot. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 78,000. The VIN was not available.
Driver lost control of 2011 dodge durango, traveling approximately 35-45 MPH, and hit a tree head on. Vehicle purchased on 8/25/2011 new, and had approximately 5,000 miles on it at time of collision. Driver was wearing his seat belt. No air bags deployed. All emergency personnel, wrecker driver, body shop, and insurance claims adjuster indicated that there was no reason air bag should not have deployed, the crash definitely hit the sensors. Vehicle still being assessed, but is probably a total loss.
The frontend of my 2011 dodge durango shakes at 45 MPH and increases in strength with an increase in speed??why? This is not a one time / short time thing it has been doing it for a while. I need to know what to do to fix it!!
