The racetrack tail light is not airtight so water gets inside the lamp. This caused an electrical short on the LED boards and smoke filled my car. I contacted dodge and they said there was nothing they could do for me. My insurance accepted it as a claim and I had the lamp replaced. The old lamp was intermittently lit before going completely out.
