On 05/13/2020 truck was in an auto accident and declared total loss on NICB. Crash report doesn't reflect injuries. Speed limit on the highway says 60, on Google maps. Also, the officer's description doesn't make sense. There are 3 units, including trailer. Other vehicle is unit 3.... I also don't understand how the person in the 3rd unit did not have injuries.
Tl* the contact owns a 2018 ford f-250. While the vehicle was engaged in park, it made an abnormal noise and rolled backwards out of the driveway. The vehicle rolled over a ditch, which caused the vehicle to move forward and crash into a tree. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. During the failure, the contact's husband was standing next to the vehicle with the door open. When the vehicle rolled back, it knocked him over; injuries were sustained. The vehicle was not repaired.
I was going down the road at 75 MPH and went over a bridge hitting a small bump and the truck started to shake violently like a tire had blown out or something. I slowed down and it stopped. It happened two more times not quite as hard but makes the truck hard to control. I got on line and seen several people had the same problem with the f-250 trucks. This condition was called the "death wobble" . Ford needs to recall these trucks.
I just crossed over 15,500 miles and experienced the death wobble when going over a bridge. Will call dealer monday. This needs to be a mandatory recall as the steering wheel is literally jerked out of my hand. I was going approximately 50 MPH.
