Steering locked up lower control arm snapped at the ball joint where it's connected to cv axel. Sent my car into the rails and nearly.killed me and my passenger.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford flex. While stationary, the vehicle would not start when prompted. After the first failure, the contact installed a new battery and reset the computer software in order to get the vehicle to restart. Upon the second occurrence, the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump and the fuel pump module needed to be replaced. A dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made of the failure.
2 door lock/sensors replaced to date (6/2019). Door sensors say it is open when all doors are closed. Occasionally it will decide the door is open while driving, causing all lights in the vehicle to go on. Hazard when driving in the dark. Doors do not lock at all while driving if sensor says door is open. Was also unable to lock the car while the sensor issue was ongoing because the alarm would go off multiple times a night.
