Tl*the contact owns a 2004 chrysler pacific. While driving approximately 70 MPH, the was forced to the edge of the road to avoid a vehicle and crashed into an embankment. The vehicle rolled over six times. The air bags failed to deploy. Witnesses at the scene stated that during the third rollover, a 9-year old child, located in the middle row on the driver side, was thrown from the vehicle and died. The child was wearing a seatbelt at the time. All of the other passengers sustained minor injuries.
Windshield wipers freeze in light to heavy snow. Defroster pattern not low enough or wide enough. Windshield has ice form on it when the wipers clear the defrosted part of windshield. Ice then forms on wipers and fails to clear windshield. Car has to be stopped and manually cleared of ice and snow.
When taking the car for an oil change, I learned the engine cradle had rusted through and cracked. After researching the issue, I discovered this is a known issue for this car. I contacted chrysler, who claimed that the car was made 7 days too early to participate in any sort of covered repair. This is ridiculous, as my vehicle clear suffers from the same issue.
