My husband was driving down a county road at around 9:00 pm in our 2004 eddie bauer edition expedition ,from dps it was told he could have been going at a rate of up to 100 MPH when he reached a curve he missed it and tried to get back on the road but lost control of the vehicle which flipped multiple times ,the only airbags that deployed were the side airbags even though there was very serious front end damage the frontal driver and passenger airbags did not deploy ,which could have saved his life.

Reported at 27,000 miles, May 2007 CrashFireInjury

We were driving with continental tires (p265/70r17113s) on an arizona highway when our rear right tire separated. Our vehicle immediately veered to the left and went up a guardrail with a 30' drop below. Our vehicle (ford expedition) flipped 360 degrees, landing on its passenger side. The vehicle was well maintained. The tires had sufficient tread. The authorities on site took pictures of the tread separation and recommended reporting this as the tire appeared to be defective.

Vehicle lost power for 3-5 seconds at highway speeds approximately 65 MPH on three separate events. Vehicle slowed down due to power loss while in heavy traffic. Three other times at idle speed in drive and in park engine stalled and immediately restarted. Loss of power steering due to engine not running when stall event happened.
