1999 jeep cherokee. Attorney writes on behalf of consumer who died in a crash related to seat belt and airbag issues *tgw the decedent was driving on a clear day on a dry highway, when she suddenly hit a median and the vehicle rolled several times. According to the attending physician, the decedent was too small to be protected by the seat belt and shoulder harness and/or the air bags. The driver died from internal injuries caused by the seat belt /air bag not being properly designed to protect someone that small.
Fuel gauge reads empty when tank is full, dealer cannot find problem. Will drive for about 30 miles and then fuel tank will read what it is supposed to. Also terrible shaking in front end when braking. Brakes/rotors all new and replaced still shakes. Fog lamps continuously burn out, dealer states wiring harness. Have had to pay the deductible on this numerous times... Like it is my fault they burn out.
I was driving home from class today when I heard my seat pop. After that my seat became wobbly and unsecure. When I got home I went to check it out and the weld was ripped out causing the problem. What frightens me is I did not do anything unusual and if I got in an accident I could have been severely injured or worse.
